Murf’s Backstreet Tavern in the historic district of Sag Harbor, N.Y., is one of the last “local taverns” on the East End of Long Island. Located in a shake shingle saltbox from the 1790s, Murf’s is the place to gather with family and friends, even your dog, to enjoy beer, wine and spirits. Murf’s is known as the ‘friendly watering-hole’ for locals, visitors, sailors, boaters and crew (who can walk from the local marinas) to meet up with old and new friends alike. Inside the old-school pub charm, you’ll find a dart board, pirate ring toss, reasonable beer prices, jute box and plenty of cheer.
